Melissa Etheridge and her partner Tammy-Lynn have put together a list of their favorite songs for Valentines Day on iTunes.
The playlist includes songs by Keith Urban, Coldplay and David Gray.
Melissa says “A good song is timeless. These 15 tracks are some of the first ones I go to put on when my wife and I want a little “mood” music”.
One of the songs is the classic ‘Unchained Melody’ but they went with the Willie Nelson version instead of the original. “I picked Willie Nelson’s version of the classic ‘Unchained Melody’ because it seems to come from a place of true longing in his heart” she said.
Melissa, a Grammy Award winning songwriter herself, is written many a love song over the years. “Love is one of the most written about subjects in music, and these artists do it so well”.
